Due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19, we have modified some of our practices as recommended by CDC guidelines as well as the recently published American Hotel and Lodging Association’s Safe Stay protocol.
We have instituted a contactless check-in/check-out procedure. Prior to arrival guests will be given specific instructions on how they can access their rooms. As always, we will be on site and available to answer any questions or address any concerns but will practice social distancing. For now, a friendly handshake upon arrival and a big hug at check-out are replaced with a no-less-heartfelt wave and a warm smile. Because we already employ contactless payment processes there will be no need to present a credit card unless you make additional purchases from the restaurant or bar.
Because we have adequate space in the dining room for B&B guests to easily practice social distancing, we have resumed breakfast service between 8:30 and 9:30 each morning.
Guests who are not yet comfortable dining inside may opt to have breakfast delivered to their door at the requested time. You may enjoy breakfast in your room, on the balcony outside your door or (by prior request) in the amphitheater or the balcony overlooking it. The outside seating areas have been configured to promote social distancing.
Social Distancing between Guests
As recommended by CDC social distancing guidelines, guests shall be advised to practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from other groups of people not traveling with them, including in any area where guests or employees gather. These areas include the Restaurant, Amphitheater and the B&B balcony seating areas. When necessary, furniture and other public seating areas can be reconfigured to promote social distancing. And in compliance with recent state mandates, masks should be worn when
and where social contact may occur.
In anticipation of individual concerns of guests and to comply with AHLA’s Safe Stay guidelines, after check-in we will not enter a guest’s room during your stay. Housekeeping will maintain our current high standards of thoroughly cleaning rooms following check-out and we will maintain a gap of at least 24 hours between future guests occupying each room.
